The reference 6236 was produced from 1958 to 1962 and is the final version of the famed Dato Compax by Rolex. Four different versions were produced over the years with references 4767, 5036, 6036 and the present one 6236. It is nicknamed in honor of the Olympic champion Jean-Claude Killy and our model differentiates itself by its transitional dial with sunken pyramidal indexes, which is most probably one of the latest version known of this iconic Rolex.
