This very specific model made for the Israeli Defense Forces also known as “Tzahal” is part of an exceedingly small number of military watches supplied in the early 1980’s. The case back bears a military issue number M - 1837 and was not part of the regular production at the time. Originally the model Autavia was developed under the guidance of Jack Heuer and released in 1962, intended as a timekeeping device for motorsports and civil aviation: AUTomotive and AVIAtion. Our present example is from the last batch using reference 113.603.
