Vente du 13 mars 2024 - Horlogerie de CollectionProvenance:
Christie’s, Geneva, May 12th 2014, lot 138.
The reference 6034 was introduced in the 1950’s as a direct successor to reference 4537 and equipped with the most reliable caliber at the time Valjoux 72. Most examples of the reference were cased in stainless steel or in 18k gold, just a few in 14k gold. Our present example is interesting as it bears the stamping ROW on the balance spring, a specific code given to watches made especially for the US market.
